GENERAL INFORMATION - Terms and Conditions
CONFIRMATION OF BOOKINGS
Functions more than one month in advance. By payment
of deposit (10% of the total price or $100 whichever is the greater) as described
in the quotation within one week of receiving the quotation. The balance shall
be paid more than 7 working days prior to the function.
Functions less than one month in advance.
By full payment as described in the quotation within
one week of receiving the quotation but more than 7 working days prior to the
function.
No booking is confirmed until a deposit is received.
Quotes are only
valid for one week after presentation of the quote.
Where confirmation and
payment is not received, Banquet Express reserves the right to deem the function
cancelled.
CANCELLATIONS
Bookings that are cancelled after written confirmation has been
received are subject to the following conditions:
- Deposits will be refunded in full if the function is cancelled more than
3 months prior to the function date.
- In the event of any additional services being booked and subsequently cancelled
within 3 months prior to the function date, the client is responsible for paying
Banquet Express the charges incurred.
If you do wish to cancel or alter your
date, please forward a letter as confirmation, otherwise the date will not
be cancelled.
MISTAKES
While efforts are made to check pricing and other errors, inadvertent errors
do occur from time to time and Banquet Express reserves the right to decline
orders arising from such errors.
PRICE VARIATION
Banquet Express will endeavour to maintain the prices quoted, however we reserve
the right to adjust pricing to meet with the market cost variations. Where
the order amount decrease below the stated minimum, the rate per guest will
increase. For functions booked more than 6 months ahead of time, Banquet Express
cannot guarantee the price quoted to remain the same. The price quoted may
increase due to increase in products, wages, etc. Online prices and quantities
may change at any time without notice.
GST
Is applicable to all functions booked on or after 1 July 2000.
GARBAGE REMOVAL
The client is responsible for the removal of all garbage.
CONTRACTORS
All ancillary services including but not limited to decorations, party hire, specialty cakes and hire equipment are supplied via agents.
PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
A surcharge of 20% of the total bill is applicable for functions on public
holidays and New Years Eve Deliveries. Order minimum of $1000 applies
DISCLAIMER
Banquet Express will not accept any liability for inability to fulfil any or
all services through causes beyond the control of Banquet Express, including
disputes, strikes, government restrictions, natural disasters, acts of terrorism
and other causes. In any event any liability will be limited to the cost of the
catering. Banquet Express and Total Event And Management Services Pty Ltd are
interrelated businesses. Where Banquet Express is mentioned in this document,
it also applies to Total Event And Management Services.
DELIVERY ONLY
FUNCTIONS
Banquet Express will prepare and set up the buffet for service. Buffet tables must be supplied and set-up by the client. Banquet Express is not responsible for the serving of the meal.
HIRE EQUIPMENT
Crockery, cutlery, glassware, tables, linen, chairs, marquees, ovens, warmers,
tables etc are not included in the quote unless specifically mentioned.
